USPS Service Standard Change Effective October 1, 2021

Effective October 1, 2021, the new service standards for First Class Mail® (FCM) and Periodicals begin. Most FCM traveling within the local area will be unaffected (two days). Overall, 70% of First Class Mail® will receive the service standard of 1-3 days. The Postal Service will increase time-in-transit standards for certain mail that is traveling longer distances.
